Pickard Construction specializes in all aspects of telecommunications-related new construction, repair and maintenance involving both buried and aerial infrastructure . The company was founded in 1979 by Maurice & Donna Pickard of Meaford, Ontario. The company continues to be solely owned and operated by its founders.

Since its inception Pickard Construction has grown from two employees in one location to over 250 employees at seven permanent Ontario locations. The head office, major shop facility and main yard are located in Owen Sound, Ontario. Regional offices & yards are situated in Huntsville, Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, North Bay, London, and in Chatham, Ontario. The company has successfully completed major projects as far north as Kapuskasing, as far west as Thunder Bay, as far east as Peterborough, and as far south as Windsor.

Pickard Construction has consistently grown at a double digit rate during this decade, and projects a continuing controlled expansion through increased sales into the future. The consistent growth and continuing success of Pickard Construction has been and will continue to be based upon its unwavering commitment to constantly improving the quality of its services and the quality of the infrastructure that it installs.

The concept of a job well done and on time is at the core of Pickard Construction's value system. New employees are taught it when they are hired on, and existing employees are provided with refresher training on a regular basis. This philosophy benefits the company, the employee and the customer.
